Clifford stud, was established in February 2002 and is situated in the beautiful "Valley Bushveld" of the Eastern Cape near the Old German town of Stutterheim (which is at the foot of the Amatola Mountain range).

The name Clifford Stud is taken from our farms name that describes the view from the house and areena, which is surrounded by cliffs in a semi circle.

We found the Nooitgedachter story in the HQ, which we both could relate to, and so started our love affair with these hardy, sure footed, courageous, big hearted horses.
